Meet. Dr. Vilkelis

Dr. John G. Vilkelis is a chiropractic practitioner in New York, NY.  He has been practicing for over 18 years, a graduate of the world renown Palmer Chiropractic College in Iowa.  Dr. Vilkelis took over his practice when another New York Chiropractor decided to retire, Dr. Mazzeferra.  In Dr. Vilkelis’ words:

I took over my practice from Dr. John Mazzeferra when he retired. He had searched for nearly two years for a chiropractor to take over his practice and had refused to sell it to 23 other chiropractors as he felt they could not adequately take care of his patients. After a specific adjustment I gave him his wife told me later that Dr. Mazzeferra. was very happy he had found the right chiropractor to look after his patients. For Dr. Mazzeferra. his patients were like his family and his sense of duty to his patients is something I have tried to model my own practice after. 16 years after taking over from him I still think about the example of how to practice and look after my patients.
